Buzz and Fizz - The Soda Bottle Enthusiasm

Have you ever heard the saying, 'When the fizz is gone... the buzz is gone...' Probably not.. I just phrased it.

Many of us (in fact almost all of us) have this experience. If there is something new, attractive and looking like it would be interesting and worth giving a shot(I am not talking about the new girl next door), we would surely take up this stuff. We would give it the due importance (remember its interesting) and would be with it - thinking, talking, browsing, experimenting about it. But after sometime the grip of the action loosens and we may overlook it or look into some other thing interesting. But why does this happen??? What is this called??? Why is it so common???

If it were Shifu/ Oogway (Sorry if you dint see Kungfu Panda), the answer would be 'I dont know'.
It was the same with me and similar to the movie, I did find something about it.

You     : But how???
Myself : I don't know!!!

Okay, let me answer the second of the four questions.
I do not know the medical terms or the biological name or even the common name of this condition.
Hence I would call it Soda Bottle Enthusiasm... (ahem.. I dint name it.. i heard this somewhere and am just using it and even before posting this (but after typing it out) I googled it and found a couple of blogs stating SBE)
So obvious for the name.. it just follows the same way a soda bottle behaves (behaves???) I leave it to you to fill in the blanks.

Now we have a name. For the third question. Its because we all have a lazy guy sleeping within us. This guy will get bored if there is nothing for his friend brain to work with. It goes without saying that man created the cache memory after knowing that he himself has one. Just like our application servers, the brain fetches this information from the cache and hence the heavy programming done is not utilized. Though it is built since every hit to fetch the information is accounted, this would work well only with the application server, not the applicative character of the mind. One cannot get himslef interested in the same thing if it stays the same. Just think, all the retail stores always come up with some new ideas (atleast in their ads), the vote bank speeches mostly contain promises to bring new things into life and the stereo type movies always flop. Its all because the brain doesnt seem to be interested to see the same thing again.

Look I am not a medicine guy, but somethings in life are always obvious. This is the very reason, why people coming out of thier home to study or to work lose weight in India and gain weight when abroad. Coming back to the answer, why can't people shrug off their laziness and do something around it to make it interesting. This answer can be derived from the answer for the first question. For the first question, it happens because it has to happen. Why do we throw away our belongings if we don't like it? Its because we have lost our interest in them. Why do Indians like AR Rahman's music compared to the other Music Directors? Its because he gives a new feel to his songs and he tries out different things. An example would be the 'One Love' album he made for the Taj Mahal. (I am not getting any money from him).

Q: But why does this happen? Its all in our mind to handle things.
A: Yes. Its all in our hands and brains. But the problem is one feels cozy being lazy. And nobody is ready to come out of their comfort zone. Thats why people are still obese after paying the gym fee. But as an after thought mostly no one will stay virgin long after the first KISS (I mean this kiss) - again interest matters. Similar to the System Idle task in our Task Manager and like Mark Gungor says, we all have a NOTHING BOX in our brains that drives us. Everyone loves this box because it portrays oneself. There is independence and a feel of satisfaction when we reside in this box. But many a one are still successful in completing the tasks that they take up. One reason is interest but the prime reason is necessity. The survival instinct drives the brain and gives it a shake. You know what happens when the soda bottle is shaken, it oozes again. Remember even an almost dead man can be brought to life with a shock and a man is always woken up from his sleep if he is shaken up. And this is where the good ones and great ones differ. The good ones get an opportunity that the great ones create.
And thats how we could see great people excelling with their motivation, good people happy with the fire in their ass and lazy people mostly enjoying the warmth (unknowing its the fire) always inside their NOTHING BOX.

And you could guess the reason why I am posting this. Just think of a gap of 18 months before the first post (that too an intro) and the second post. Need a better example? I just pray God that I am atleast a good one. (he he he.. I just got a wake up call... Yes dad!)
Hope you got the answer for the fourth question in the post!
